So, in my previous journal, I explained to you that I have been working for one and a half year on my webmanga The Crusaders’ Myth, relating my RPG companions’ and my adventures during the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path, and that I was looking for a way to tell this story without making another burnout once the prologue is published.
Now, it’s been two years since I started this adventure. On this day, I posted the prologue’s first half on the Internet. And I think I found something :
A light novel.
I did not think about it too much until now since I was not really familiar to the concept. In the end, after many thoughts and talks, I did some research on it, and I gave it a try. And I think we have something good here :)
So that’s it. I will keep posting the prologue’s 15 page as manga pages. Once they are published, the following will be in the form of a light novel with some illustrations.
As of now, I don’t know yet if I will translate my chapters in english right away, or if there will be a delay between the two versions. English is not my monther tongue, so I don’t know if the english version will have the same quality as the french version. I would like to translate my story one day though, if possible. What do you think about it ?
As a reminder, you can also read The Crusaders’ Myth on Mangadraft and Tapas :)
Thank you for reading !
---------------------------------
How long have you been on DeviantArt? 7 years
What does your username mean? "Almarane" was at first a transformation of "Aldebaran". I had done an overdose of Saint Seiya (the video game which takes places at the Sanctuary) and couldn't go past Aldebaran, the first bosse fight |D I created this name for my first fic character, a summoner.
Describe yourself in three words. Messy, tired, forgetful
Are you left or right handed? Right handed
What was your first deviation? <da:thumb id="76637735"/> Neko, renamed Maneki after a while, a character I used on an RPG forum. She was a scientifically created half-human half-cat ninja supposed to fight Vampires and Zombies in a Boktai-like world.
What is your favourite type of art to create? Manga drawings
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Realism. I would want my art to be a mix between manga and realism.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Hmmm... Fan arts, creepy arts. Mostly drawings.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? I don't really have one.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? I'm not really in the "IRL meeting" thing. But if I would choose... I'd say Jack-Norisk (even though I already met her), and probably Griphass, Erafine, even though it's been a long time we didn't talk. Also, CHEMAX3X seems like a cool guy, so why not.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Jack-Norisk helps me keep drawing. Also, demons-fall and gigifeh sometimes inspire me to make cool character designs.
What are your preferred tools to create art? 0.5mm criterium and Sai
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? There's no place in particular... I just need some music or some people to talk to. Anywhere is good to create, as long as you have a steady desk.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Everytime someone enjoys my art
